Skiing and Adventure

With the 2002 Winter Olympics coming to town, we have to have some excellent snow. The high desert climate helps to create snow that is a distinctively light, fluffy, dry powder. Our average snowfall at the ski area's is about 350 inches per year. Combine that with our propensity for clear weather and average daily high temperature during the winter skiing months of 43 degrees, we are the place to ski.

Adventure and Fun

Utah has 45 State parks, 5 national parks, 7 natural forests, and 22 major lakes. The Jordanelle reservoir is about a 10-minute drive from town. Just outside of Utah are the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. These are some personal pictures of my adventures around the area.
